Hound loon war attack gone wrong.

So I had my troops ready for attacking a TH9. I had to attack last minute because it was a close war. Last few minutes it makes more sense to attack their top TH8 instead and clean up for extra star. I had 3 hounds lv2 ,10 barbs and 2 giants for luring and the rest are maxed loons. This combo has been working for me vs TH9...... until I had to attack TH8. Only 1 of the 3 hounds i have died and I only had 3 pups help cleaning. I still had many loons and AQ with the archers special power. I got 99% :(. Perhaps I should have brought minions. :(

I wish the hounds had self destruct button to bring the pups!!!!! The hounds were useless clearing buildings. I dominated and got 99%:mad:.

Let me guess... Builder hut in the corner?

Agree, self-destruct button for lava hounds would be nice.
Or
Auto-destruct when all air defenses are destroyed on the base.

Always bring some minions for cleanup. This is also important for higher targets if you cant get all of the deff because they save the 2nd star.
