he was advertasing duct tape for 75 coins.saw him today and read that ElizaD saw him couple days ago. i have couple of farms similar to Afnan farm; all level 7.
and i also got mistery shoppers.i put up some goodies for my lovely fellow farmers which i tend to do to say some sort of virtual thank you for help.in a matter of seconds was all gone.but i got a picture and a name to go with it.since i am not 100% sure i didn't help anyone but my friends and followers i will not put those names here,just in case i am wrong i do not wanna put anyone in some sort of awkward position.

I like planks. Who doesn't? I got planks from this farm upon hitting the ad refresh. Farm was active, boat clocked in at 16 hours needing help. The stat of the farm seemed normal.

Second page of the same ad had cheese at max price as well. Nothing in shop, chickens unfed.

My conclusion, in order to make the ads look better, (ie LESS BnE like so many complained about) SOME desirable ads are simply recirculated between different pools. So that it comes up in my DD still minutes after it has been sold. It is not dropped from the circulation.
Teeheehee. Good solution, trying to make it look good. But didn't work since we users are quite clever. And no, not kids sorry!
Ok maybe this was not designed by purpose, but, I cannot explain the mix of the available BEM versus empty ads otherwise. Maybe I don't know how the paper works well enough. Someone else please explain?

- Ive been one of many many who will sit hrs and pour through the DD awaiting it to refresh in the slight hope of seeing a Land deed an or markers add.( hammers seem to be rather easier to come by when harvesting ).. As like is being said here "empty stalls" depletes hope , and within split seconds after being posted - or so I've been perhaps mistakingly thinking .?
- Exactly how long do adds post ?
- Is there any type of distribution settings in place on the server, um don't know how to describe exactly except for like a "punk buster" used in RTCW and COD multiplayer settings -- It keeps or attempts to keep users equal in concerns of LAG an such .. Other words Im located on West Coast USA - so does the same DD post at exact same time on EastCoast ? So if HayDay server is located say - Chicago vs Seattle the Ping alone is enough to cause "empty stalls" on the WestCost
- I've noticed lately perhaps "SuperCell" may be addressing this issue ?? As when i finally do see an add for item im after an Woa its actually showing in the stall !! Yet when i click to buy it - I'm meet instead with a notice "another user has already purchased this item" Ooooooohhhhh that sooooo SUX !!!!
- OFF TOPIC -- would be perhaps an idea for future updates is an ability to "Trade" items with friends.. ?? rather a Bartering system - perhaps even with its own DD !! For those who only seek to Exchange items - personalized settings a MUST , customize exactly how many of what items per request !! -- can be set to local ( friends only ) or set to Global -- Posting on Global can inquire fee's just as already established in current DD ..

Amazing Thread.. I noticed this two for the past few days. I have been collecting my own set of farm photos with low level players and ridiculous # of visitors and follows. But you've captured and summed it up nicely. This really deserves some SC developer attention.

Well, I hope I'm not cheering too soon, but, despite saying the new update wouldn't fix bugs, the newspaper seems to be back to the old version, still loads of bacon and eggs, but the good things on there, (spread throughout the paper,) seem to be real now. I haven't come across any strange visitor readings yet, but will go on checking.Quote:
