TH8: Where's all that elixir I am supposed to have?

After the Halloween update many TH9s were complaining they couldn't find any elixir to raid because the TH8s they normally pick on were now spending it on walls. After the Xmas update, much complaining from TH8s because they didn't have anything to spend elixir on now that they couldn't buy walls.

I am early to mid TH8 and all I can say is where is all this elixir I am supposed to have? While I was TH7 my 4 builders never stopped. Now I have 2 builders dedicated to gold upgrades and two dedicated to elixir upgrades. I struggle to keep the lab and the 2 elixir builders busy. I don't seem to find other early to mid TH8s with a lot of elixir either. Mid to late TH8s with no lvl 6 walls and a significant number of lvl 8 walls are impossible for me to loot if it's inside the base in storages.

Can he farm in Gold 1 with level 4 units ? I mean I will be th8 for 4 days, so which league is best ?

Even in th7 elix is problem but gold not at all. Gold is just okay. What is best league for low th8 with level 4 units?

I farm in Silver 1.

I can find 200 000/300 000 elix in silver 2 but from th6. But no more in th8. I am also curious what is best league to farm for th8 beginners.

Gold 3 is the best for early TH8. Lots of TH7's there

Don't worry, every time you upgrade a town hall the going is tough for the first couple weeks. Keep at it and you'll find the elixir just ends up appearing in your storages. You do have to adjust your game play and raid style as you climb up town halls. The game does change.

Okay will jump to gold 3. I am already on border with tropheys.

If you are decent in raiding, you can get to storages!
Try changing your trophy range too!

I have been in gold one for a week and I bring in anywhere from 150k to 300k of each a raid... It's not spectacular but it works
