Is there still a loot penalty?

Thanks for all the help. I think I will stick with TH 8 for a while.

I never notice the loot penalty making a difference really. I'm TH9 and attack mostly other TH9 and TH8 unless there is a TH7 saving up for an upgrade ;).

At TH8 I mostly raided TH7 so that ah to change even though I haven't got around to upgrading my army. It's still easy.

It seems like the loot penalty really kicks in at TH7 for TH9. You couldn't get more than about 135k from the storagesand only 25% of what is in the mines and collectors.

There is a loot penalty for attacking lower THs. For a TH9 to attack TH8s, you are only allowed to take 90% of the loot.

A TH 10 raided a TH 1??? Lol...I can see that. News Healines: person wastes 1 mil in elixir on TH 1 base.

And suddenly, you can raid people with their TH1 base that are still in the tutorial.
