Exactly the same with me. I asked my clan mates and they don't have it. I use a Galaxy S3. What about yourself?

Same here, observed just now. Logged in 2 times in the last 2 hrs. Got downloading content. Before that I upgraded the app. Just don't know what the update is for.
I use nexus 4.

first im sory for my bad english..i dunno what going on t my clash of clans, every time i open my clash of clans it always appear downloading content and it will just keep restarting my clash of clans,after that i can play normally but when i try to exit clash of clans and start up my clash of clans again it still appear downloading content and restarting again and again.. i have already restarted my device and wifi but not solve this trouble..i hope anyone can help me
Iff your account is linked to gamecenter, facebook or google (on android) you can remove the app and reinstall it and get your village back

I think you need to give some more feedback to supercell on what type device your playing, ios version or android version... Do you have this problem when you connect to a mobile network or to wifi...
I know some people had this problem with mobile internet and it fixed when they connected to a wifi internet.

Same here, but i think its only on Android devicss, my ipad don't get the downloading content screen but my samsung note 4 does.
I'm Using Android Phone and my phone is connected to a WiFi .
not sure but i think if this is one way of SC to check/prevent other users using ch3@ts. :)

Logged on an hour ago just fine.. but just now I'm unable to. I'm on a Galaxy S5. This need fixed fast.

I've been getting double loads - getting to downloading content momentarily and then reloading the game (android devices too), but not getting a permanent hang. It's also been a little slow to load the last few days... irritating that I can't get it to finish loading in a painfully slow lift trip before I have to get out.
Testing - if I force quit the game, then it will double load the game on next load. If it is still running partly in the background it doesn't. I assume that after a while, android kills the app entirely and double loads are normal then.

I tried uninstalling it and re-installing it and it still did it. Now when I switched from my wifi to my mobile data it worked. When I switched back to wifi it occurred again. Please fix super cell.
WiFi is my problem too. On WiFi, I get stuck on downloading content screen. My WiFi connection is good though. On mobile data, game works.

I don't know what happened, but since yesterday I can't access clash of clans anymore because it tells me " downloading content" but it isn't loading. I have tried to re-install it and restart my phone and it still says the same thing. Can anyone really help me?

same problem here. i am using samsung galxy s5. last night the game was fine. in the morning the game was stucked on the loading screen. after 2 or 3 resets i was able to play but only for 5 minutes
When you tap CoC app you will first see Super Cell, second comes the loading screen. Thats where its stuck. It goes over and over again to Super Cell and the loading bar. Im using Android Samsung S4
Same issue..galaxy tab 4. Endless loop. Uninstall/reinstall didnt work. I went through the entire troubleshooting list..nada

A lot of Android users are currently experiencing a loading bug. No fixes are reported as of yet.
Unfortunately all you can do is wait for an official announcement from Supercell.
I tried to load CoC on 3 different devices and all I get is a "Downloading Content" message on the boot picture and then it goes blank and loads again saying "Downloading Content" and just keeps looping. I cannot get in to the game at all to report it so my only option is to post it on here. Can anyone else confirm this issue? Please tell me the servers were not turned off. I tried to re-install the game to start from scratch and it still does the same thing. It is not my account I say that. Boom Beach loads fine...issue is just CoC. Thanks.

Multiple threads created. Of which we are currently awaiting an announcement on as it is affecting many Android users. No fix or solution at the moment. Good luck.

I was able to temporarily log on the game using my neighbors wifi. (why is your password so easy!) I found that on two different android devices in my home, neither were able to log onto clash of clans and both got stuck in the downloading content loop. One of these devices didn't have any version of coc before tonight, and after I discovered I had an issue, it was a new install and I still couldn't load the game.
With the new install, I logged onto my neighbors wifi (with their permission of course) and after a few times through the loop, the downloading content bar moved. After about ten times through the loop, it finally finished. I was able to start a new game on that tablet.
Using my original tablet, the one I have been playing on for months, I logged onto my neighbors wifi and it did pretty much the same thing. It took a few minutes, but eventually it got through the downloading content screen. I quick used my war attack and then logged out of coc.
I tried logging back in with my wifi, figuring the "new content" had been installed, but no luck. I went back to my neighbors wifi and it went through the process again. it took about 10-15 tries, but the game eventually loaded. I informed my clan mates that I might not be around until the issue gets resolved and logged off again.
This isn't a permanent solution because I cant play on my neighbors wifi all the time. I had to stand in the garage in freezing temperatures just to be in range.
We have not changed anything about our wifi in the past few days so although the issue seems to be there, it is clear that the issue is related to the way that that the coc servers talk to certain networks. Something HAD to have changed on the supercell side, because nothing changed here. Also, the fact that so many people are having the same issue at the same time eludes to the fact that SC did change something.
UNLESS, it is related to a certain isp. I am currently using century link dsl in MN, USA. It is possible that the isp is causing the issue. I would be interested to hear what ISPs people that are experiencing the issue are using.
So, If you can't get on clash, find a different access point. Let the "downloading content" screen run for a few minutes before giving up. You might just be able to log on. Many users are reporting that they can log on with their mobile data, but not through their wifi, so the idea that the isp is causing the issue makes sense. Either way, it is something supercell has to fix, If they don't, a lot of user will be left out to dry...

It was working fine to me yesterday,
started to loop this morning : i rebooted and then was able to connect once, and now it is looping again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again even after rebooting

Ok, many users have that issue and it is annoying !
Even more annoying there is no answer AT ALL just threads being moved where less people will see them.
SC : please at least confirm you are aware and doing something (other than moving threads)

Kill all the apps in your back memory including coc and restart your device, this should work
Only reason things move is because others are posting making this topic go down the list. I sent an email but we all know that will not get answered in a timely manner. Problem is most of us are probably in a war and not able to get on means cannot donate and cannot use our attacks so I hope they are giving us some kind of compensation for it.Quote:

But the issue started happening at the christmas update. Supercell changed something, cause my wifi hasn't changed for over a year now.
