I am getting Downloading Content everytime I start game.

Getting the same loop of SC logo and DL content.

Thanks for the idea, but doesn't work

It's doing the downloading content loop on my iPod (I don't have a phone capable of downloading this game, so doing the data thing won't work)
And other wifi networks in my area aren't showing up for some reason.
What should I do?

What fixed it is changing to another Wifi connection.

What happens is the clash of clans updates while running in the background and it brainfarts on the wifi or data you are connected on. Switching to a different connection lets it update and stops looping.

Here is what worked for me..
Was getting the content loading screen again and again. I forced the app to stop in settings. Then turned off WiFi and opened the game again. I don't have data, but instead of the content loading screen it went to the regular loading screen and hung up because no data. But when I turned wireless back on it actually loaded.
Its a weird connectivity issue!

Having a similar problem, game keeps trying to reboot at launch on my iPad. I have another account on a different iPad and that won't load either. This just happened this morning. The game has worked perfectly for almost 6 months until now.

Try changing your dns server, then logging off your network, then logging back on.

I had this problem on my Galaxy S3 phone.

I fixed it by changing my wifi to a different one, it will download data then you can change it back to the wifi that you normally use.
People say it works by changing from wifi to data or from data to wifi too.
