With your current base, you will be fine going to TH9. With coc, you dont have to follow a set of recipe to the letter. Each person plays a different style.
Personally, however, I would max everything at TH8 before moving up. What is the rush? I want to test my golem at level 1 at TH8, then test it at level 2 to see the difference. Play with different combination of units, that is part of fun of the game, at least for me anyway.

As promised, here is my TH9 after the weekend. I have level 6 Barbs going in the lab. My xbows are under construction, and my queen is finished. However, the new structures have been created but are still lower levels.
