Leaderboard for Top Donators

If Supercell implements a separate section called Top Donators, in between "Top Players" and "Search Clans", this would drastically improve the willingness to donate. The "Troops Donated" statistic is a great add-on, cheers to the devs, but I say we expand it. Look inside your clan castle, i assure you there is at least one person in there that outperforms everyone in donations. This would be an excellent incentive to every top donator in every clan. Rewarding gems to the top 10 players would further enhance the competition, and believe or not, profit.

How about top farmers?

I would hate for that to result in people being motivated to donate... giants.

Would also motivate clan hopping

Could you elaborate on how it would encourage clan hopping? I have no idea on where you got that vague assumption.

if the donation stats didn't reset every time you left a clan then it would encourage clan hoping because people often clan hop just to donate troops. To increase their exp level and get closer to the friend in need achievement.

Its a dumb idea anyway.

That is where you are wrong. Donation stats DO reset if you clan hop, and why in the world would you clan hop just to donate troops. Isn't it the other way around?
