Quick question

I've got a quick question;
When you hit revenge and you get the red message, either "Owner's online" or "Town has a shield", does anyone know which message takes priority? As in if the owner is both online, and has a shield, which message shows?
I'm trying to revenge a guy who just got a new shield about an hour ago, but now it says he is online, so I want to make sure it's worth it to wait til he gets off. (350K of each resource is a pretty tempting sight).

EDIT: He's made an attack, so I know he doesn't have a shield now.

If it says he is online his shield is broken and it's a matter of time before he logs off. All you can do is check his base to see if he will log off any time soon.
