Point of the matter is, Gems are premium Currency, and as such, SC will never allow for gem farming. Also, Sub-20 will be swarmed with raiders looking for a quick gem box. See how bad that could be?

you havent answered the most important question though.

what right do you have to my obstacles, whether its a stone, a tree, or a gem box?
why should you be able to take what is mine?
should you be able to take my xmas tree, my Halloween headstone?

these are not resources that are stolen back and forth.
i cannot move them, i can only harvest them.

But it isn't like there is a gem box in every raid. It will only be if the person hasn't claimed it. Plus they are only handed out every week or so. It isn't like it would be a major event that would bring down Clash of Clans as we know it...it would just give an added extra due to someone not taking advantage of their freebie

Having builders staggered or not does depend on the player, but if this was too happen everyone would have to stagger there builders in fear of losing there gem boxes that who knows when they will get them. You wouldn't be able to plan for it. It wouldn't be fair to the players that rather have builders constantly working that its the risk they take of losing a gem box which already comes so rarely.

I did reply, I said that it is only yours once you claim it. So rather than sit there an look at a Gem box...claim it. Unlike the gold that is stored in vaults or the elixir that is stored in vats, both of which can be attack, the gems aren't available to be stolen once they are claimed.

Take a picture of the gem box and hang it on your wall if you want to look at it :) :D

Im not interested in your headstone or the Christmas trees, as they only return gold/elixir.

Actually think about it. Sub-200, its all either devoted farmers with builders busy, or low Ths with only one or two builders that are probably at work, so yes it will be a gem box every raid down there. They are handed out on average once every two weeks, but thats over millions of players. meaning at any given point in time there are possibly millions of gem boxes that are unclaimed. Factor in inactives and you have a sh*tstorm of trouble waiting to happen. Like i said earlier, Gem Farming will never be a thing.

Also, how can someone be "taking advantage of their freebie", if they have no builders open? I run with three builders, two of which are tied up with AD and a DBX, i was gonna farm for my teslas. But with this proposition, then i have to leave a builder open at all times if i want to get my gem boxes.

But that would be measured on the fact that a) you could then weigh up whether it is better to spend a few gems to finish the build early and claim the gem box, and b) in your wars you will find others having the same issues thus allowing you to make up for your own loses.

There's nothing to claim. It's already mine. And you say you don't care about the Christmas trees or headstones, but why would you pass up 75k gold/elixir if it's easy to get? Plus, you'd have people destroying then just to be jerks. It would be a popular revenge tactic to destroy someone else's decorations.

So sick of these threads asking for more free gems. We get a lot already, and if that's not sufficient, then you'll just have to pay rather than requesting ways to steal it from others.

So now i may possibly have to spend 200 gems to get my 25 and then go out raiding to makeup the difference?

that isnt what i asked.
what right do you have to claim my gem box?
as i have stated, i dont always have an available builder.
more often than not my builders are busy
why should you be able to come to my base and take my gem box?
believe me, the moment a builder is available, i claim it.

but again, what right do you have to claim it?

this leads to higher townhalls with more builders trolling the lower levels who only have 2 builders huts, maybe 3 and stealing all those gem boxes.

this will never happen

let it go.
