Donation Bank for clans

I think a donation bank for clans would be a grat idea.
Members of a clan can donate troops to the said bank, and when a member of the clan needs or wants it they can enlist the said donation. Only upon that donation being enlisted will it count toward the donating members donations.

I really would like to see this idea implemented for the simple fact that i work a lot of hours and struggle to meet the donation demands to maintain elder status in my clan. Im sure i am not the only one waiting around for people to request before something comes up and i have to take care of something and miss another opportunity.

Itd also help for people that need troops but may be in a different time zone then others in there clan idk how many times diferent time zone members have to wait hours to get troops they need cuz nobody else is on

Bumping this instead of creating a new thread.

Why? Another reason is because my clanmates sometimes request Pekkas for war and I'm glad to cook one.

45 mins later, their cc is full and they go to sleep. I got a pekka in my army camp with no use for it.

I would love to just to put it in my "donation bank" for someone to take later on.

I'm trying to figure out how this could be "exploited" to shush the "exploiting police" here on the forums, but I don't see how. Once you put it in the bank it no longer counts in your "friend in need" maybe?

People will try to claim that this will open up the possibility to donate to yourself by sending troops to the Donation Bank (DB), then taking them out of the DB for use in your own clan castle. However, there's no way SC would make that possible. They may also claim that this would allow for unlimited donating. To prevent this, SC would have to integrate the request timer with access to other players' DBs (taking from someone's DB would activate a troop donation request by you, and any troops taken would count as a donated troop by them).

In my mind, the DB would function like like a reversed clan castle. There would be an actual building (maybe looks like a small scale spin-off of an army camp) that can be upgraded and would function like barracks or army camps during defense (used as a damage sponge, does not have any attacking capabilities). Troops could either be limited by a flat number (like 5 troops), or by housing space (like receiving troops in a clan castle), but would probably be limited by both (like donating to a clan castle). Upgrading would increase both the health and troop capacity.
