I like to collect the seasonal items such as Xmas tree or Halloween tombstone. But doing so means you have to forever deal with where ever they pop up at. I purpose that seasonal items once the season ends become decorations and are movable so that you can keep them and decorate your base with them. However they are not purchasable in the shop so if you do remove them they will be gone forever.
That's why you need to make a force spawn base for them if you want them to be in a certain area.

You shouldn't have to compromise your base to just hold onto a keepsake game object.
Maybe have a 'harvest' or 'aquire' option, where you don't claim the obstacle for the reward, but instead add it to your decoration options. Limit one 'aquire' per sessional object.

Some threads have popped back up about this very topic, so bringing this more into view.
With as many people asking about it, would think some kind of special consideration should be made for special obstacles.
So annoying to have to make a special, vulnerable, base, just to keep ONE special event item.
Have to admit, has been interesting. The open, but forced spawn/deployment, setup has had it's share of people attacking and losing vs my base; likely thinking it an easy target with no real walls in the way.
