Roman Numerals..... I included pictures

I was wondering if the developers ever tought about using Roman numerals instead of stars. They are a little clearer to read and i believe recognizable internationally. I am no graphic artist and these minor changes actually took me some time so any feedback would be appreciated.

i played with a few colors on the text but im no pro. I was going to include a pic with the research lab also but it was taking too long :rolleyes: The one i did for the lighting might be more feasible

I completely agree. My dad has trouble seeing small details like those stars.

I can see where on some smaller devices, the stars may be hard to see, but...

At least where I live, they no longer teach roman numerals in schools. If it weren't for the Super Bowl, I doubt anyone would even know what they were. With a large population of the players in that 8+ (app store rating) or 13+ TOS rating, at least in the US, it would be hit or miss if their state/school still teaches it.

I think the stars are easier to read in the lab screen where they're up top versus in the barracks screen where they're over the graphic.

Actually it's not hard to figure out. There could be an in game option in help and support. I remember Roman numerals pretty easily and the only annoying parts would be 4, 5 and 6. And believe it or not I can easily remember those due to the grand theft auto series XD.

How about they keep the stars, asterisks, whatever, until the troops are maxed? Then at max level, the stars are removed and the troop picture gets a blue border.

Maybe there could be an option in the options menu called troop level display: [Roman numerals or Stars] (press to toggle)
