Single player war tournament

This is my first post , but I have a great idea for a single player war tournament option.
It would be similar to Clan wars but just on an individual level.
My concept goes like this.....you click join 'single player war' icon.....it sets you up against 9 other similar level players (eg. townhall level and exp points)....
You use a clan war base and can give yourself defensive troops....24 hours later the war tournament starts whereby you have maybe 24 to 48 hours to attack each player in your tournament....the top 3 players with the most stars are rewarded with large loot bonuses or perhaps some gems.
The only issue I havent thought out is clan castle offensive troops , and as it is an individual format , perhaps offensive clan castle troops should be excluded.
This single player war format will really test individual players skill levels and would be a lot of fun !

It's not a terrible idea. Where CC troops come from is not a mystery. Get them from your clan mates.

The reason I say no offensive cc troops is if you are not part of a clan and wanto take part in the single player war tourny you would be at a disadvantage.

I used to play a lot of online poker , and the idea basically spawns from the "sit 'n go" tournaments , from 6 to 10 players.
In that format a lot of the "sit 'n go's" are sattelite tables into bigger tournaments , where the winner of various sit n gos enter into a larger , more populated tourny.....so it could branch out further than my initial idea....but to keep it simple my original concept would be best !

This game is based around community though, so I think if you're in a clan that can provide you with attacking troops, you should have an edge over those who aren't in a clan

Sounds similar to a single table poker tournament. Allow 10 players to "fight" round robin style. 9 fights, the winner is the one with the most stars.

WInner gets 50% of the war bonus pool
2nd gets 30%
3rd get 20%
rest don't place

Interesting idea, might be worth looking into.

I like it. And I think you are right on the cc troops, just leave them out of the game. None for attacking or defense. That way you aren't getting help. its all you.

This is one of the best ideas i have seen so far.

Not only would this give the really war hungry players another chance to get after it but this would also allow lone wolf players who do not enjoy clan life a chance to experience war again! Brilliant idea.

-keep CCs out of single player war
-prep days should stay 24hrs
-war phase should move to 5 days if there are 10 bases this would keep the attacks per days ratio in balance
-winning can't earn gems or supercell would have no part in it
-could only make it a TH7+ thing
-seeing as its a single player thing make it like poker where you have to give a price to play the hand like 500,000 gold 500,000 elixir and 1500 DE
-1st would receive 3,000,000 of each and 10,000 DE
-2nd would receive 1,000,000 of each and 3,000 DE
-3rd would recieve his money back
-4th-10th would all get 1/3rd of their entry fee
-This would make it actually competitive and wouldn't change loot in the game as far as how much or little it is it would just be the same amount cycling this way supercell may actually get behind it!

-OP you should contact me and let's get together to really get a detailed post about this idea and all its parameters so SC may actually listen!

Poker 4-10 don't get any back.

Stick with the poker analogy, I think it's solid.

Then people should join a clan. If you aren't in a clan, you should be at a disadvantage. People in an active community should have an edge. I like the general idea. Allow your clan to maybe view your attacks or something, somehow include everyone.
