In my rules, i max defense, walls, farm troops, and storages. So yah IMO you are rushing. Walls have been easy peezy till TH8 for me. I still have 8 days left on hitting th9. Although i feel if everyone started playing by my rules, the loot will become all the more difficult to get. And since we are all enemies in CoC, i actually prefer everyone else rushing their townhalls.
you will be fine... my self upgrade to th 9 by lvl 56. lvl 6-7 canon and at. lvl 1 tesla and lvl 3 ad...:rolleyes:
and for 3 month in th 9....i think im only getting 3 stars 2-3 times...and that with max hogs..(damm those hogs..:mad: )
a few times get wreck over 80% by mass dragg and max ballon. black giant no longer a threat after a month.
so in all..if i hava no problem so are you.
farming...ehmm..this one difficult...because my time in th 9 at the same time with elix for wall, farming has been difficult compare to th 8. because loot are scarce..but after update a few days ago..it seem alot better..same when im th 8. soo..... good luck..:cool:
You will do fine as long as you have maxed troops. I was about the same as you when I upgraded and within 1 month of town hall 9 nobody ever attacked me. I only got town hall sniped. Be sure to upgrade the xbows when you get to town hall 9 because they have a huge scare factor.

All your defenses are maxed, and hopefully most of your lab upgrades, so you're ready for town hall 9.
