I know some people love 'em and look forward to 'em, but I am no longer enthused about weekend events.

We need some new events. I like the crafting events, like make as many of something as you can (like cakes, sweaters, juices, etc.).
How about a town event? Bonuses for serving townies. Trains that arrive more often or bring more peeps. Maybe cut down on the time the peeps are in a building eating (or whatever they do).
Make things interesting and make a milk event - goat or cow.
Crop donation - feed the hungry! Have each tier be a different crop. Start out with 200 wheat, then 400 corn, then 600 carrots, etc.
How about a feed the animals weekend? Bonuses for feeding the pets and the producers. Tie it to a charity like the Humane Society where a portion of diamond sales goes to the charity.
Honestly, the possibilities are endless, but the game is stuck in a rut of the same things over and over.
