Well then I bet you gained a lot of free defense wins/trophies that way if they zapped you and surrendered.
After all, everyone knows that the way to prevent zapping in Master is to protect your town hall.

I think it would be a great idea to harden the dark storage against lightning attacks, im gettin sic of weak ♥♥♥ players gettin over 1k from my storage with a few lightning spells, most dont even bother to take out the th to give you a shield. Some say i should spend the dark, but when i am saving for king or queen upgrade that costs over 100 k now there isnt much choice. Definitly need to stop players lightning peoples dark storage. I break shield a dozen times a day and at least 50% of those times i will get lightning attacked. Need to either reduce the percentage available from the storage when lightning attacked (lets say about 1% should do) or make the storage resistant to lightning all together.
Zapping for dark elixir is part of the game and a common strategy, your options are either don't leave tons of dark elixir in your storage or just simply get over it and go zap it back or zap someone elses and if someone wants to use 60k elixir to zap 3k DE from you lets them
Well no it wont, as the spell was not used in conjunction with troops, they were used separately for different objectives and were completely independent actions.
Whether or not you can place a spell without troops is irrelevant once this is taken into account, its like people suggesting that you cant leave a clan without doing both your attacks in cw, when people would simply drop two barbs and leave.
I never said it was a command, I said it heavily implies what the spell factory was made for and what spells are used for and how using it to take resources detracts from that. Stating that people are free to use spells however they want is another red herring, I don't have a problem with people zapping, what I have a problem with is that they can zap in the first place.
My comparison is by no means faulty. The only way it would be is if it was the norm to put all storages on the outside.
To give another analogy, its like being able to drop some lvl1 barbs randomly on a maxed base and get three stars, I know you just love my analogies , but hear me out, the point is that it undermines base progression by subverting defences. Giving me a summary of the difference between the mechanics of raiding resources and stars is just another red herring that detracts from that.
