Does anyone else think it's a joke they can literally make your full army jump out of the core of a base and completely ruin a raid? I'd understand if they were nearby but am talking 15-20 tiles away man it's such a joke!

It is quite frustrating how unpredictably and outrageously attracted troops are to the skeletons (and cc troops and heroes). Definitely the biggest ai problem if you ask me.
It sickens me, wouldn't be bothered if they were near but there so far away and everyone leaves what there currently doing to go for them!
yes this exact worst possible thing happened to me 3 wars back...attacking a max th10, got into the core, got rid of one inf... wiz hitting the th... 15/20% of the TH left... suddendly both the heroes, pekka & wiz just jump out of the jump spell they came inside with... run out towards the skels & game over.. just get one star...
Before this trap you needed to stratagize and plan your assault. In CW it meant analyzing your enemy and prepare a suitable army. Since these traps were introduced the entire process is absolutely useless. Raids fail because of these dumb skeletons and it frustrates to the point of stop warring!
Why would a pekka go after the skeleton which would literally take 2 weeks to kill it...
This changed the game from a smart game where good attackers were rewarded, to a game of chance. Supercell would do well to take these traps out or at the least change the attackers AI around them
plus they run around the whole base with no restriction to specific area...
i like them
I will have them for 5 days :D they ruined a lot of my attacks. Even sometime when I see poor th8 I dont care for cc. So few wizards level 5 and skeleton traps ruined my attack. But I like when I lose. I learn something ;)
A TH10 2 starred a TH8 with balloons because of the skeleton traps. If you are doing a GoWipe, it's easier to take out the skeleys, but when you have 6 of them hitting your balloons, its basically another, weaker archer tower with infinite range(why always to bring a good amount of minions). Skeleton traps are definitely a cool addition to the game and its fun to see how many raids are destroyed by these little skeleys.
Cheers!
