I think there should be a online/offline icon beside the clan members username so that other clan members can tell who is on and who is off. Makes it easier to talk to one another.

Supercell has rejected this idea. So its not happening
What's the reason its rejected. If your in a clan people would like to know who is online so they don't have to talk to someone and wait a hour for that person to reply
This is because there might be have some players who begging for troops in donation from someone else. It will lead to a worst relationship among them. Eg. if the donator not willing to donate at that moment but you still request that person to donate to you which could bothering people and might cause arguing happen.Quote:
