Im currently in the top 5 of my clan, so im hitting very strong th9's.
Im currently maxing hogs because I wanted to try that, but now im not even sure its worth it.
Im thinking between :
Max Hogs
Holowiwi
Lavallonions
Those are the choices I like, let me know with do you think is best right now :D
PS : I dont want to do GoWiPe.. :D
This is, in my opinion the best way to consistently 3* in war. It works on any base design and best with air defense either in or close to the core.
Set up:
3 Golems
4 Witches
12 Wizards
6 Wall Breakers
4 Balloons
2 Rage
2 Heal
CC - 5 Wizards and 5 Wall Breakers
Strategy:
1. Spread Golems out. Best way is to drop a Golem at each corner and one up the middle. It is better to attack from the side where you do not pull the clan castle.
2. Drop the 12 Wizards behind the Golems in a line.
3. Wait. This is key. You don't want to pull the clan castle until the outside buildings and defenses/buildings inside the first layer of walls are destroyed.
4. Drop CC in the middle. The wall breakers will come out first. As they approach the wall, drop a rage. This will ensure they bust at least the first two layers of walls.
5. When you hear the clan castle music, drop all 4 witches up the middle along with the Archer Queen and Barb King followed by a heal spell.
6. Use the rest of the wall breakers to get further in the core if necessary.
7. The heroes, witches, and wizards should be in the core. Drop the rage and a heal in the core.
8. When the core is destroyed and the Archer Queen/Wizards destroy the Air Defenses, drop 2 Balloons each at the outside Archer Towers in front of the core kill group when the Archer Towers are locked on the golems.
9. Watch as you get the 3*.

This sounds very nice. I suppose I need higher lvl on my heroes. Currently 6 and 6... Ha !! Ill give it a try once they are 10-10
I agree with Rederick. I also believe Hogs have their place. Gohowiwi. You can add a squad of around 8-14 to flank and with a heal or two they can muster the 3* effort. Some poorly laid out Th9 bases can still be mass Hogged so long as you make a kill squad for taking out the Queen and not let her decimate your Hog swarm.
