Question about lavas

I'm a nearly maxed th9, and I've decided to work on heroes and lavas before I transition to th10. I have lvl 20 BK and lvl 18 AQ, but my question is about lavas and whether I want to spend the time to complete them. What is a reasobable amount of time to expect for a fairly casual/active farmer to complete lavas. I try to get around a couple hours of farming in with two barracks boosted daily. This is less sometimes and more others. Am I crazy for thinking of spending 6-8 months to farm these things, or should I be content with my inner core as lavas and legos for the rest. Thanks.

Depends on your goal for the game. If you want to eventually have a maxed base with full level 10 (or even level 11 walls) then you are better off not rushing and simply working on them now. If you goal is to get to TH10, finish your buildings, and then quit the game without high level walls, you may as well level your town hall now.

As for how long it will take, your best bet is to simply see how many resources you gather during your two hours of play and do the math. How long it will take you personally depends entirely on how many resources you personally are able to gather in a 2 hour session (since that number can vary greatly between players).

Unless you are obsessed with maxxing EVERYTHING at one th, then stay. But you should go to th 10 if you at least have all lvl 8 walls.

If you have the patience to farm lavas and max heroes at th9 go for it! Starting th10 completely maxed would be best.

Agree, if you still enjoy been TH9 farming lava walls & heroes then there is no reason to stop.

Keep going until you lose interest in the grind or max the lot. I lost interest at lv 25 heroes & 100 lava walls. At that point my builders & lab were idle for too long, it was time to enjoy using my heroes again. Where better to enjoy high lv heroes at TH10!

of course its your decision, but as Leader I encourage th9s to go to th10 with at least skulls and lvl 20 heroes, the rest can be done later. The clan will benefit from more people with max troops and you will benefit from having cool things like freeze...see what I did there?

Thanks folks. Right now I have 8 lavas and almost all legos completed. I think I only have ten legos left on the end of a funneling wall. I've had quite a few people tell me the my goal of getting heroes into the 20s and at least partial lavas is overkill.

I started farming lavas on Nov. 16th. As of today, I have 170 completed, 80 left. I generally attack between 300-400 times per season in Gold III - Gold I

Why waste that many resources on walls when you could move up and be use them on defenses and troop uogrades? Walls are expensive. I got all mine to skull at th8 and the beginning of th9 and I'm not going to go to Legos until I max out my defenses at 10. The upgrades are so expensive and time consuming where farming for walls is tedious but can be done instantly once the resources are acquired. I'd rather farm walls with epic defenses then stay at 9, i wanted infernos and freeze spells too bad.

I'm a maxed th9 and I'm sticking around and grinding walls and heroes until I get sick of it. I'm in no rush myself, and th10 will always be there. Like a few said, I guess it all depends on what you want out of the game. If you eventually want to have maxed walls and possibly make a run at the leaderboard, I think sticking around at th9 is a no-brainer.
