Best Defensive Clan Castle Troop

Which Clan Castle troop do you think is best for defense? Feel free to advocate for your choice in the comments.

My personal choice is the wizard because:
- High damage
- Splash damage
- Decent health
- Slow movement (longer to lure)
- Targets both ground and air

goblin is a no brainer

A mix is troops is better.... witch/archers, or witch/whizz/archer.... ( imo)...

i'll say wiz and valks

I like almost all archers w 2-3 wiz, with an unlureable radius. Takes like 5 seconds in the radius to lure everybody out.

I prefer wall breakers. Very useful if your enemy is using wall troops.

Agree.

As such I voted archer, is they take up most of the CC space.

Lava Hound. Way too much health, distracts a huge number of troops and then lava pup craziness.

However cost wise, wizards and archers can't be beat.

1 witch with archers as fillers.
Valkyrie can be surprisingly annoying if not properly dealt with.

Indeed, if you have no Minions Valks are a real hassle.
