Do the x-bows even matter against th10 mid-advanced attacks?

Hey guys... i've been a th 10 for a while, got both infernos to lv 3 and now i'm doing 2 of the 3 x-bows to lv 4 while the other x bow is lv 2. I've noticed , while taking various kinds of attacks, that the x-bows do minimal damage to troops... and while the attacked troops are under healing effect, they don't even DO damage.
While having 2/3 x-bows innactive i was able to defend my base as if i had all of them working.
In the other hand, the infernos cruches enemy troops.
Of course the Xbows are awesome and scare some attackers, but they only Scare, because while attacking, they're not so effective.
At the end, my conclusions are that the X-bows don't matter that much while having the infernos.
(Of course they help , but it isn't a great help)

Yep, a heal will out heal an xbow at least at TH9. That's nice when hogging as one hog under heal can tie down the xbow for a good length of time.

I guess I imagine that attacking a TH9 as a mid-max TH10 is about as easy as attacking a TH8 for me now.

kinde got to agree that x bows sometimes only do little damage but they do seem to do pretty good against heroes

edit: got 3 lv4 xbows
they also seems to have a pretty darn low dps (80at lv4) for something that should be scary but more then the upgrade price, no there not scary

Might as well you say Cannons don't matter against TH10 attacks as well since they fire once every 0.8 seconds and takes down one target at a time.

You must understand that in CoC, every defense is not independent of each other. They work together to take down the incoming troops. The more defensive structures you have, the higher lvl your defensive structures are, the more effective your defense, no matter whether it is an Archer Tower, cannon, or X-bow.

I know this... working on group is the only way a x-bow does good...

Yeah they have nothing on infernoes, not even close. But they do serve their purpose being a long range quick shooting defence that has decent damage and has a lot of health that can act as a tank for other buildings.
