This is seriously the worst idea I've seen in a while not only is this exploitable but it would remove all the fun and anticipation out of raiding!!!
Yes I have read this thread completely and I see multiple people saying that it could be turned off in war again as i said at the top of my post this is still soooo exploitable. E.g. If I just got into a war with a clan and wanted to know if a particular strategy would work on a base all I would need to do would be take my second acc over to the clan get a picture of the guys base then move to a seperate clan where there is no war going on ask someone to model there base like this then practice all I want with my second acc. Seriously if supercell even consider this im going to create a petition to stop it!!!

ERM, who will let you go spy? Almost anyone with brains will close the clan during war or won't be accepting new suspicious fellows. And you don't need to make a same base with same traps by going to their clan and taking screenshot. You can analyse easily how well a base can hold out against a particular attack.

Its to try out different layouts and different new army compositions. Your claim that you can go spy and then make a base from it to try and attack. If you already got the complete base with traps, there is no point even making trial attacks.

There are so many people who just copy a base from internet or forum or YouTube and all they do that is because they are afraid of making a base that might let down their clan. And then there are players who suffer in war due to anxiety or panicking as they are new to wars and not used to attacking war bases. This helps in improving their attacking skills and people get to try out new ways and new layouts.

mate I don't think u remember the whole gh***ing thing a while ago with that u could basically sandbox an attack in war even if u have traps already U would be able to test the base multiple times to see what it is good or bad against this can lead to easy 3 star that might not have happened b4 if they weren't allowed to test out what troops actually do when attacking the base. Also your claim that people wouldn't let me in to enemy clan is false i said if my second acc was not in the war and had a different name so it's quite easy to spy if u have a second acc in this situation especially since most clans are reluctant to close during wars

Does anyone else have thoughts on this idea, bringing it back up
