Funny thread, but no, I like to hear when my guys are dying, let's me know how bad I may be doing if I'm zoomed in and can't see the whole screen.

I mainly play the game on mute, because I don't want to disturb the people in my surroundings. When I'm raiding in public, though, I turn the volume all the way up and put 200 barbarians on outside buildings covered by wizards and mortars.
ARGH!
Usually just one one volume.
I put the volume down when my archers die so no one around me thinks I'm watching something else...
