I have both level 3 xbows and although people rarely full on attack me , after 3-4 good raids it is only 60-80k total refill,
no it doesnt effect you at all
Simple answer is yes. Like overnight, i had 4 full on attacks. On the first three, i won the defense. On the fourth battle, my xbows ran out of ammo midbattle.Quote:

Ive had my level 3 xbows run dry overnight after succesfull defensive wins. When they were empty I got a loss and a shield. So trophy range and setup will also affect this. As a farmer with less trophies than I should have they seem to be more of a visible deterrent than anything else. i have mine pointing up so they kick in less and need refilling less.
A full xbow has 1500 shots firing 1 shot every 0.128 seconds means the xbow last 192 seconds if shot nonstop (3 minutes 12 seconds).
I calculated one day how long an X-Bow shoot before it runs out of ammo and got a bit over three minutes (can't recall the exact time). It means that you can be attacked by two heavy attacks or even more smaller attacks but when you are farming you hardly ever get attacked because of your exposed TH and totes awes defences. So in my experience, a TH9 has to fill their X-Bows while farming about once or twice a week. When trophy pushing you of course have to fill it every day
