Help from DE zapping

This may have been suggested before. I hate the fact that some underdeveloped town hall 7 can take so much of my hard earned dark elixir just by using lightning - I am a maxxed town hall 9. This takes no skill/strategy and I don't think it's fair. My solution is being able to buy a lightning shield for only your DE storage that is good for x amount of lightning damage. Once you've been struck enough times you will have to re purchase the shield. The attacker would not know who has an active shield.
What does anyone think?

Well i can tell you one thing for sure,

TheRealChrisM and Iceageg will be here to tell you the same thing,
Zapping is only way to get higher Ths out of the lower leagues and into the higher leagues where you are "supposed to be". Its supposed to be annoying and anyways, SC has said that they have no plans as of now to change it.


Time to reset the counter to zero days again...

You can say whatever you like but I think hanging out between crystal one and crystal two is plenty high when I'm not pushing and it still happens all the time.

Plus, not only do I get hit by town hall 7s but also get 5 lightning spells hitting me sometimes. Last time I checked that is at own hall 10 doing it to me.

If you are a Th9 in Crystal then raiding for DE should be no challenge at all, Im hanging in Gold 1 right now, just below Crystal 3 and I haven't seen a single serious zapper in about a week. Might just be unlucky then :p

Also, if a th10 is hitting you, then that's just their fault. Th10s can raid whomever they like for DE, Th7s aren't that lucky and have that privilege

just place your town hall outside your walls. On your trophie-lvl they take only your town hall and the rest is spared. And with 1 attack you can recover the lost trophies.

Yeah jhmr, I'm a farmer at heart, but I have been trying to keep my trophy count up and just haven't been able to stay in the crystal league with a farming base.

Oh well. I guess it's just something I'm gonna have to live with. Thanks guys.

Yep. I got zapped twice over the weekend. It is irritating but I am floundering in low trophy range and I understand why it is more important than my desire to keep my DE. Zapping is good for the game because it is irritating.

On a side note, I did not check the forums over the weekend so I am not sure if the record for zero consecutive days without a new zapping thread has been broken but HiFliya has reset it to zero already either way.
