Here is my newest version of my base! Any tips other than dont upgrade th till u maxed everything!and i am working on the walls atm!
At first glance:
1. Walls need upgrading to at least pink asap.
2. Unsure why you have the builder huts walled?
3. All storages in one central compartment. Break into that (easy with a handful of wbs) and people will take the lot. Segment the storages more if you can.
4. Swap the mortar in the top corner and put it where you currently have your clan castle, although having the castle in the centre is also good, so you may have to have a play with the extra walls you have spare outside the north of your compound to get both in the middle of your base.
5. Upgrade your defences, starting with splash (mortars/wiz towers) then your point defences (cannons are quickest and cheapest, then archer towers and air defence), then your teslas.
As you've already said, don't upgrade your town hall again until you've fully maxed everything, including walls.
- Upgrade Walls
- Take Town Hall out, no point in leaving it in at that level, take a cheap shields
- Spread out your Mortars to cover more of your base
Swap tesla with builders hut, Upgrade tesla, air defense in middle to protect from healer attack which is popular at town hall 7

I attack about 10 times a day one only lose 1 battle but i always get the resorses and my base is prettygood on my defenses for splash because i always kill the gobs and archers fast
except your mortars are under lvled
If you dont want to be punish by almost max th 7 ,th8,th9 for being premature, just cancel your th upgrade asap.
At first glance, its easy to identify that your weakest spot is on the right side right in front of your walled builder's hut. To me, that would be my point-of-entry.
Here's a minor suggestion:
1) your layout looks like a giant circle overall. That's good, because enemy troops tend to linger around the closest structure instead of penetrating a weak spot, but to enable this, you need to tweak your layout a little.
2) further the distance between your outer structures with your wall at least one square. Too close to your wall would mean that enemy troops would target your wall after the structure is destroyed. If the structures are further outwards, enemies troops would instead target the structures beside it, thus forcing them to go around your base rather than going into it.
3) overlap the outer structures between miners/extractor and barracks; not putting extractors/miners side by side. Have other non-resource buildings between each of them. Again this is to force goblins to go around your bases looking for loots instead of going into your base towards the storage.
Overall, a minor tweak in your layout should improve your defence. Of course, the obvious suggestions to upgrade your walls and structures are also another point to that matter. Try look for a circular layout example for TH8, they're quite good actually. Once I tried raiding a similar shape. At first it looked quite easy to break since its very compact and looks easy to loot once the walls are broken. Instead I had my troops going round the base and allow their cannons to pick my troops one by one.
