Elixir Walls

I repeat my question here:

Who guarantee that I could upgrade lvl9+ walls with elixir 4 months later when I reach TH9?

Now You TH9 and TH10 are glad to dump elixir on your walls but when rules are changed time to time I cannot rely on it.

Same is for current update. When I was TH6 I had to upgrade my walls with gold but the guy in TH7 and TH8 use elixir. Now i reach TH7 but rules are changed and again I have to upgrade with gold.

Who knows in the future when I reach TH9 I finally could upgrade my walls with elixir.

IMO the only way to solve this issue is undoing all elixir-built walls in all past period of time.
It seems impossible solution so there is no solution.

Lol, the feature is gone, move on, its ok, still getting lvl 8 walls is not that tough, i did some lvl 11 walls with gold, all lvl 10 i did all with gold. So get them to lvl 8 and upgrade to th9. 😊

You know very well that cannot be guaranteed.

But often when SuperCell do something like this, they provide compensation.

5-6 months ago SuperCell nerfed our heroes beyond belief, it was an epic blow to high level players - but next update they considerably slashed regeneration time to compensate.

Here SuperCell have provided you immediate compensation. Yes, you lost elixir walls for skulls. But TH8 gained a precious 2nd DE drill [I would have killed for that when I was TH8, but that is just how it is] AND lv 12 mines & collectors.

You get to benefit from those things for a far greater period of time than we ever did.

That is just how the game works, SuperCell are doing a good job keeping things in balance. The game will never be the same as 6 months ago - and it will not be the same in 6 months time either.

It keeps evolving, and there are many thousands of players still here having played the game for 2 years now and still enjoy it despite constant changes. You will always get haters, but you know the saying. Haters will hate, and they are still here too aren't they?

SuperCell know what they are doing. It has taken me a while but I now truly believe that. Very few companies have a game this powerful and still growing after it is 2 years old.

Try to look more at the new things you get [in this case a 2nd drill and lv 12 collectors], as opposed to what you have lost [in this case elixir walls for skulls]. The game is far more enjoyable that way.

Please give us back elixir walll!!!!!!!!!!

Given SuperCell just reverted it that isn't going to happen. SuperCell have never fully reversed a single update before, never. They aren't going to start now.

Instead, how about come up with some detailed suggestions to SuperCell on ways to use that extra elixir you have. As that is what most of the frustration from TH7 & TH8 players stems from. You don't want to have elixir you cannot use.

I dont complain even when everything is against me :))
I can deal with everything and still move on fast.
When i reached TH7 I could get BK in 4:45 minutes after building the DE storage and could upgrade it non-stop to lvl5 in 6 days.
Now drill is coming to TH7 and I dont need it LOL. I put my full 20K DE storage expose for people benefit!!!
I Also put my elixir expose with nearly 4 Million because i dont need it too LOL.
Yes I can donate and build a costly army with that elixir and DE but both of them (donate and costly army) are time consuming and I prefer to use my time raiding and loot gold for my walls. I use the fastest army BAM with some WB.

I hope you could find me and raid me!!!

I finally stopped posting solutions in the trash bins of this forum (stickied loot/feedback threads) and proposed it in here, if you'd want to take a look.

I'm a TH8 and sitting on millions of elixir with NOTHING to spend it on.

My laboratory upgrade finishes in 4 days and I can spend a little there, but I'd rather upgrade dark troops.

In the mean time my base is a target for TH9 bases that actually have a use for elixir.

I can't manage my resources by keeping them low to avoid being a target.

I don't want to raid because I know I'll get immediately hit.

You solved a small problem by creating a much, much larger problem. If there aren't enough of a type of resources in the game the solution is not to make it so that for a certain population there is nothing to spend it on.

I may be done with this game - this change ruined it.

We should either go back to it not being able to be used for walls at any level, or find a workable solution which would allow level 7-11 walls to use it again without breaking the economy at TH9/10 like the initial release did.
