Tired of always giving up ur raid time for donations?
I have an idea that I would really like to see in clash of clans. If you like it, I hope you consider posting it so it gets some support.
I would like to highlight a problem that plagues all donators. It is as follows:
Every time u set aside time for raiding ur bombarded with troop requests. Taking away elixar away from u, which is fine, u give and take. But it also costs u time to brew which u then can’t use to do ur raiding. A possible solution:
In the chat tab where the requests r put forward if supercell were to make that into a make shift barraks that covers all troops including de troops within the donation button menu it would resolve the issue of the time cost incurred to the donator.
How this will work:
The requester does what he/she does best and requests. It shows up on chat as we know it to. But the donator/s then offer troops instead of donating. The offers r placed in the same way to how we donate currently from the donation button in the chat tab. The recipient of the offers then chooses from the available offerings made to him/her. If a single troop has more housing space than what the recipient can hold in their clan castle that option is grayed out as is the case at the moment. But unlike now where the cumulative effect of donating troops although small in housing size as an individual but while exceeding the total troop housing capacity of the clan castle results in the greying out of the said troops and other troops of same housing value at the donation button menu, now should be made redundant because now the potential donator is only offering.
For example a recipient has a cc with housing of 15. A potential donator tries offering a dragon but can’t , it is grayed out, as is the case currently. If however a valkyrie is offered the option unlike current system should remain open even when more than one valkyrie cannot be housed at the donators end. The reason being that others may offer a valkyrie of a higher lvl.
Selection is made by recipient within the donation menu by simply clicking on name/icon of troop that is on offer. While selecting from the offerings if certain troops that remain exceed the diminishing housing space of the clan castle they begin greying out at the recipients end.
Once all offers r made or if the now spoilt recipient decides he/she is bored of waiting for more offerings, he/she at this point will no doubt be drooling over the offerings but will also have the opportunity to select troops equating to the troops his/her cc can hold. It is only when the selection is made from the recipients end that the relevant elixar is taken from the unfortunate soul that made the offerings.
And here comes the good part; the donation menu dissappears from everyone’s menu but the recipients and transforms into the likes of a make shift barraks where the troops begin brewing within the menu. So all the waiting is done by the beneficiary rather than the poor donator. So if the recipient were to recieve a dragon he/she would have to wait 30 minutes while if he/she recieved 5 hogs he/she would be waiting only 8 minutes for the same housing space to be filled for example. That would be a dillemma the recipient would have to deal with. Dealing and tackling with the desire of a higher troop but not wanting to incur the cost of extra time. Ha!
Things only get better for the donator:
When the offers r put up and there r troops that r the same but of different lvls, the higher lvl troop is choosen by default if selected. The higher lvl troop is also the only one that displays its quantity so as not to confuse the user interface. It’s only when the higher lvl troops are depleted the lower lvl troops of the same display their quantity.
Also, here comes the good part, if a troop is selected by the recipient which is offered by two or more potential donators of the same lvl of that troop, the cost of it is shared by all those who r putting up that offer when selected.
For example a request is made by clan member with clan capacity of 25. A hog lvl 1 is offered by one clan member and hog lvl 2 by another . And a dragon lvl 1 is offered by a further 3. The clan member accepts the one hog which by default will be lvl 2 and resulting dark elixar is taken from the donator as payment. He/she also accepts the dragon and the cost of 10k elixar is taken from each of the three donators. The brewing process begins and it takes 32 minutes.
I believe this should improve the gaming experience considerably without any negative impact on the game mechanics.
I am Warhammer12321 of the clan : He Man #92coy2L9 and I would like to dedicate this idea to a lovely damsel in distress, a dragon tamer at a clan called Omashu #u2ucorc
Thank you.
