Hi guys, i'm a quite maxed th9, except for walls and heroes 😔
actually i'm farming DE for my heroes and now they are both lv 15 while i've just finished my skull walls.
now do you think it would be better to focuse on walls or on my heroes.....cause if i stay in crystal 2/1 i farm lots of DE but few elixir and gold, while in gold 2/1 it happens the opposite.....what should i do😅?

I'm in a similar situation, I have about 40 lvl 9 walls and lvl 15 heroes. Although I'm in crystal 2 right now and finding plenty of gold and DE so I can do both.
You should focus on walls. DE becomes more plentiful at TH10, while other resources become more scarce.Quote:

Tough choice - I decided to drop to gold. If there's a base with a lot of DE I take it. If there's a base with gold/ elixir I get that.
It's possible to save 100K each week. But I was only doing one Hero at a time. Plus I was trying to time it to co-inside with clan wars....
Lol, are you just trolling the TH9s into slowing down their progress toward TH10, or do you genuinely not know that ️farming DE at TH10 with all your builders busy is much more efficient than farming it at TH9 with sleeping builders?Quote:

I would say hang out in C3/G1 and focus your walls. As long as it takes for heros to upgrade, you might have enough DE for the next upgrade without trying.
go for any base that has high loot, and basically farm all 3 at once
I'd upgrade walls so when I am attacked, It will slow down the enemy to get less loot because you are farming. Since there is a time limit, I'd chose walls.

Keeping in mind that most players max their base and then worry about heroes, I have now decided to focus on heroes so that I may enjoy them while farming. They make it much easier at higher levels. I made the decision to focus on them once I was already a TH 10 with maxed out infernos, teslas, wiz towers, and farming troops. I also had lavas 70% done. I do not regret the decision to focus on heroes and hope to max them soon and enjoy them.

I'm starting to notice the expanded capacity for dark that 8s are providing. Down in gold1/2 today working walls still managed to pick up about 14k dark off of th8s.Quote:

I wish that'd I maxed my hero's asap, but instead I moseyed around and now i've got a level 12 king and 10 king at th10, c2/3 and I find >250 DE most bases. They could be helping me farm and war much better. I'm lucky if I find a 3600 'Dark Collector Raid' tho.
Don't work on walls, because they're either going to get blown to bits or jumped over anyway. Not to mention level 40 heros can do a whole lot more than a 2D image that gets blown to bits every raid...
The game is almost all offense. Why players prioritise walls so heavily over heroes puzzles me.
I recommend getting your heroes to 20 before TH10 but as long as you have the time for it (4 lvld on heroes is 1 month) do walls first.
Gotta remember the drills have a larger capacity too after the update, but getting a steady stream of 700+ just about every time. Not sure what the capacity bump is for a level 3 but it's starting to show.Quote:

Heros are way more important than walls. Do heros.
But I would maybe suggest doing it at TH10. The extra troops and the drill make it much easier to acquire DE at th10
I would say heroes over walls. You actually get to play with heroes. Walls are just decorations. I am working on both, but I will be staying in crystal until both heroes are level 30. At that point I may be willing to drop to gold league for better gold/elixir farming.

Walls versus heroes? Stomping people's bases with OP offense has vastly superior entertainment value to watching replays and noting that your adversaries were slowed marginally by that super project which required a near monastic vow to complete.

I'm on my 79th hero level now and I'd say that you need to do them before burnout sets in. Once you're burnt out, thats it...you're done. Walls are boring and thats depleting in its own way but walls being upgraded doesn't inhibit the way you play the game like sleeping heroes do. Late stage TH10 hero upgrades were designed to break your spirit and open your wallet.
So, my advice is to grind as many hero levels as you can while you're still bright eyed and bushy tailed to farm.
Do your walls and Heroes together!. This is what I did...
Don't use bam because minions uses up DE. Barch between 1800-2000 cups, barch uses elixir only which will help you save, gold, elixir and DE!. This is the most efficient way to get those level 9 and 10 walls... as soon as you have enough for a wall using gold or elixir (leave some elixir to be able to train troops) upgrade your wall. DE will accumulate quite easily, which will allow you to upgrade one hero a week and still leaves you with one hero for war or use with raids...
Don't worry about not maxing your heroes but I do recommend that there at least level 20 before going to TH10. If you've already maxed all your troops in the lab, then you'll only need 260K DE for upgrading the minion, golem and lava hound. The rest of your DE will go towards upgrading your heroes...
At TH10 you'll eventually get the 3rd DE Drill, as a TH10 there will be plenty of DE for you to raid, as others have mentioned on here, gold and elixir will be more of your problem...
If you got the time try do both. Go high to farm DE. Once you happy with drop a bit lower to gold and elixir for walls.
If you have not got time I would try and get heroes close to level 30 as I could before leveling. Whilst farming DE your gold will go up and elixir will stay same or even decrease, depending on your DE farming style.
With high Heroes as a new Th 10, they should help raid a lot easier than having low ones or theyare sleeping because you are upgrading. take the hit as a TH 9
I've took a break on my defense while i'm (almost middle of th9 def upgrades) and now farming dark for heroes... i'll just ditch the rest of my ressources into cheap (traps and new collectors) upgrades and then the walls...
i'm pretty sure it is longer to do heroes, so just focus on de.. the ressources will come by and the upgrades times from heroes will keep you netting little gold and elix for your lvl9 walls...
I'd do heroes (but sure thing if you can at least get 100k gold elix along while going for dark, it will come by itself
Just farm all three until you hit a point when you are happy with your walls then concentrate on D.E solely
I'm a maxxed th 9, except walls and heroes as well.
It's pretty easy doing both heroes and walls at the same time in that point.
my heroes are both lvl 20 currently and i'm working on my lavas.
It's a bit of a grind, but it's doable.
I think walls would be the better choice.
If you wont max th9 completely: Go down to gold 1 and do your walls. If you find some nice DE hits then definitely go for them. The DE should rack up pretty quickly. If you find yourself with half lavas and level 20 heroes, that's when you should go up and focus on the heroes, not sooner.
If you will max th9 completely: get your heroes to 20 ASAP then start upgrading one at a time, this should make wall farming a bit easier.
hope this helps, remember these are only suggestions, it's up to you in the end.
If your goal is to be a fully maxed TH 10 as soon as you can then maxing walls is the route you should go down since it is significantly more time consuming than heroes but this is a very good point
I tried to kind of get the best of both worlds by ignoring my king and maxing my queen. Now I'm a bit over half done with zaps with a level 40 queen but only a level 21 king. Doesn't really bother me to have such a weak king though, I use barch and he doesn't help much with that strategy unless you boost him. Only real annoyance is not having him for wars, but I would have been down one hero each war anyways, I'd rather go in with a max queen every time than keep switching between a mid level king and queen.Quote:

I've never reached the giddy heights of filling my DE storage. However once I reach that 200k I will indeed be storing my war loot in my CC and my freshly drilled DE in the collectors.

I think there should have a poll also to this thread as I reading mixed comments here. Some are saying to work on walls first then heroes and some are saying the opposite. Not sure what is the best option to go for here :confused:
its funnier to farm for heroes but if u plan on maxing out both focus on walls, heroes are pretty easy to upgrade.
I will probably be done with heroes in 6 months but it will take me a lot more to finish the walls maybe double. currently working on lavas.
