Why Max Out?

Pu understand your point of view, maxing everything completely is not always the best option, and often that seems to be the only correct answer on the forums.

However, all my experience would completely disagree with this last statement. If you max a town hall and keep on that path it is absolutely the fasted way to max any village. Always, no exceptions. That said, highly active players, doesn't matter if they are maxed or immature will always progress faster. Players with more builders will always progress faster. I was a max th8 and blew through my 1 level of upgrades to max th9 and if it wasn't for having 2 levels of archer towers to upgrade at th10 I'd be almost maxed as th10 in a few months (despite the dismal loot problems). It's pretty easy and quick to max out when you only have 1 building level to upgrade.

Loot per per raid really doesn't change as you increase. A th8 can pull 200k+ out of a th7 just like a th10 can pull 200k out of a th9. However the build time and cost for the th8 will be lower and therefore an active lower town hall will always make more loot faster than a higher town hall. The only variable in favor of a th10 is that loot losses due to raids might be less. "Might" because if you put your th out side and as a th10 in masters or Crystal it takes mere minutes for a th7/8 to snipe leaving all your loot protected.

You are right. Maxing is actually better. OP, you really need to stay and max troops, heroes and walls then. Same for th9, in the end, its better. Good luck.

Lol. Though I agree with you on walls. I have only a few level 8's left, but staying at th9 to finish them and go on to lava's would have bored the hell out of me. I think walls are one of those things you have to be super dedicated to stick too. And in all honesty the majority of th10's i see in Crystal 1 and masters 3 have level 7 and level 8 walls and they seem to be doing just fine.

Maxing everything means you would either have walls maxed first while waiting on heroes and buildings, buildings maxed while waiting on heroes and walls, or heroes maxed while waiting on walls and buildings. Either way you will be wasting either gold/elix, time, or de. The ONLY way this wont occur is if you happen to be the sort of person who coincidently raids equal amounts needed and max all three at the same time which is very unlikely. So maxing everything is always going to be slower.

The consensus of many people back in the day was that if you run out of a resource dump (walls for gold/elix, heroes for de) then go up always.

It is your base. Although I do believe maxing out is the best thing to do, I can't tell you what to do.

I had buildings and troops maxed, with walls and heros to grind out at th9. I thought it was boring and jumped to th10. I've never looked back and have done very well. Though to be honest, my heros were level 15/15 and I felt that ther lacked the power they should have. I understand why people say to get your heros leveled up, at th10 when you start climbing you need them.. Though I make far more de now and can pretty much keep both heros down at the same time.

I i think it's a mix of having fun and making sure you don't screw yourself later on. I also think that a "rushed town hall" is a rather subjective term. Though I think many make "maxed" a subjective term as well. I'm come across th9's would claim to have max troops....you know, because a level 5 wizard isn't that far off a level 6 wizards so it's good enough 😔

because loot isn't as good at th10 so u should max everything out while you can
