I understand, that for the archivement it does not count to donate troops in the clan war. But it definately is a contribution to the clan.
So the number donated troops in clan war should appear in your profile (the i next to your experience bar).

Players have the ability to dump the CC troops, so people could abuse this to get the achievment Really quick. Its not happening, sorry!
