I miss Flammy

When I started playing clash he was the first youtuber I watched. Recently I went back and rewatched some of his videos and I have to say he was hands down the best youtuber out there for clash. He gave great advice and every one of his raids was live. Not like today where everyone pre records all the good ones and that's what you see.

Not with Flammy, win or lose, triumphant or epic failure we saw them all. His commentary was second to none. He was very knowledgeable about the game and the mechanics. I wish there were more youtubers out there like him. Too much money in it i guess.

Flammy your videos haven't gone Unappreciated. If you liked flammys videos feel free to share your thoughts. Didn't like them? I'd also like to hear from you as to why. If you don't know who he is do yourself a favor and go watch some of his videos. You'll thank me.

Watch Tyrael Gaming instead, he also does live raids and shares them, be it epic win or epic fail:cool:

Even so they could edit out the waiting. Flammy did. I liked how natural his videos were.

I watched Flammy's videos when I first started clashing almost 3 years ago. He really helped me understand the logistics of the game and got me going into the right direction. I was always excited for his next video. It was sad to watch him step away. :(

I have to agree, without him I don't think I would have ever maxed out each level before moving on. I'd be way worse off without his videos that's for sure. I learned giant healer from him. He taught me basic base design techniques. All around solid advice

Another Flammy fan here - so sad to see him go. I do enjoy other youtubers such as Daddy, Galadon, Godson, Clash on Gan, and others, but there will always be a special spot in my heart for Flammy! He had a level of detail and insight into the game that was always so helpful as I was starting out.

It was such a shame to see him go.

Flammy taught me all about the idea of efficiency while farming & how to maximize profits. He was definitely a very helpful youtuber, and I was sad when I saw he had stopped making videos.

These days Clash Youtube seems all about entertainment and money. Look at the video titles! The tags! (no names, we know who is doing this) Back in spring 2013 and earlier, almost all the videos I have found were to share tactics and generally help new players. Now videos are: "Noob fails against me!" "Epic base design the Pebble" "Watch me beat th8 with maxed out troops" and the famous "Buying $7000000000 gems"

I miss the old youtubers :(

That's why I watch smaller (relatively) channels most with 75k and lower because those guys are working hard to provide quality videos for all and not try to get a dollar.

I miss him a lot also - we used to talk quite a bit, he always had time to help me out - at the time I would have had maybe 10k he was way up there in the 70k's the only one higher was Pat.

I remember his wall breaker new AI video - very insightful and helped me learn also.

Last sighting of him I heard about was on Reddit, he was developing a tool to auto-annotate videos I don't think anything became of that in the end. The reason he left YT was to focus on his studies which I can respect.

Those were more innocent times then.

I remember watching Flammy and thinking he does not know what he is talking about. Didn't enjoy his content.

I only watched YouTube of clash when I had only just started playing, but Flammy and Patrick @ playclashofclans were the only two people I really watched. They both helped me pick up the basics and then work my way through the goblin raids.

Flammy was pretty much the only (and first) Clash Youtuber I watched, it was sad to see him quit. Started watching around early 2013, his videos were very in-depth and I learned the basics to base building and mechanics and raiding. He has a guide he wrote on the CoC Wiki which are very extensive and helpful to any player out here. He interviewed Jorge Yao a few times, not too sure what was the point of that. In fact, I respected him so much I decided to join the Reddit Clan System which I guess was pretty awesome, but it was hard to get in and when I did, I was kicked for, uh, 'being annoying'... :rolleyes: But yeah, Flammy was one of the Clash pioneers who developed the basic and advanced strategies we still use today. Separating and spreading out your collectors was one of those many strategies.

I'm a Generation I kid :eek: But you forgot 'Cutting down an X-Mas Tree! MUST WATCH!' and 'World's Best TH8 Farming Base (Most Awesome And Epic Base You Will Ever See!!!!!!1'.

The very first clash youtuber i subscribed to.
His videos were very informative for new guys who just started playing.

But as the game progresses(TH10 etc), he wasn't quite able to follow up.
All I remembered of him doing was using Giants/Healers and farming TH8 bases. He seems to struggle against tougher bases and only stayed in 1200-1500 range before leagues were introduced.

Thanks for all the replys guys I'm glad I'm not the only one out there.

Daddy is the one I watch now. I really respect what he's doing in and for the community. He really tries to give back to the people. He really seems like a genuine person who cares. Gotta support people like that
