Why was I banned?

I agree. Sorry for coming off like a whiner I am just really frustrated. I have also emailed SC with no response, and of course I can not contact them ingame 😁.

this banning has cost me a fair amount of money and time. If I wasn't so high up in trophies it would be a lot easier to shrug off. THe only analogy I can really make is that if you were farming imagine if SC locked you out for 2 days and when you got back a lot of your loot was missing and all your archer towers or whatever were dropped one level. Now you wouldn't be out any money like I am, but the loss of time would be pretty upsetting.

I guess we will see what happens when we all are able to get back online. If it isn't dealt with yeah, I will be clan shopping.

so as a manager if an offensive derogatory letter got sent out to all your clients signed " the management team at...." What would you do? If no one came forward to claim responsibility would you let it slide because you don't know who to punish? I hope not or you are a poor manager, you would punish the entire team even though you know there are innocents caught in the crossfire because you need to let everyone know that behaviour is unacceptable. Being a manager means making the hard decisions SC has made the decision that they feel best fits the transgression and personally I agree. If they did nothing because they can't tell who posted the message then a game mainly populated by teenagers would decend into anarchy. Tough on you but it's better than just letting things slide.

It is very hard to say why u got banned, as a lot of the replies below could one of the reason, and i am sure SC will respond to ur email and u will know the reason, it may take a day.

also, i dont mean to be strict in my argument towards you. Frustration is understandable.

As others have said, a clan doesn't go from being good to bad while some sleep. Im certain, for someone to have seen, screenshotted, reported, observed and subsequently punished... This is not a fast process. The offensive message was up long enough for this process to occur. If it was long enough for this to have occurred, it was long enough for a coleader - namely you - to have stepped up and done the right thing.

There is no way this offensive message was only up when most were sleeping, then changed when everyone woke up? Thats far fetched.

Im glad to hear youve learned a hard lesson. Clan management matters and coleader isn't just a fancy title. There are responsibilities and consequences to holding that title.

Personally, i dont care for censorship. I couldn't care less what you had in your description. However, i understand that this is not my game and i dont set the rules. If i wish to continue enjoying this free service, i must adhere to their standards. Im free to move on to a new game if i no longer want to adhere to their standards.

Good of luck when you are able to jump online.

OP it will say in the ban decision why you have been banned - it's the weekend I wouldn't expect a response before you are back.

The co-leader banning thing is tough but with co-leadership comes responsibility, it's not possible for SC to know who posted the offensive message and it's a classic example of one bad apple affecting all of them. The alternative would be that no-one is banned and that would mean it would turn into the wild west out there.

Thanks. I was not aware that they could not see who wrote the message. This seems starnge but I still don't see how it gives them the right to basically steal time and money from players. At least provide a shield for the duration of the ban.

Axion- it may seems farfetched but it is exactly what happened. I am positive our message said "adults only" and that was it when I went to sleep because I looked when I had to change our troohy level for a visitor. 10 hours later when I logged back in in the morning I was banned. You can believe me or not 👍. Thanks for the rest of your message though and it should be interesting in the clan tomorrow to say the least.

"You" (collectively) know who's usually on at that time..... I'm sure that you (collectively) can work out who did it and take appropriate action.

well they MIGHT do that once, which I doubt, but multiple infractions are a lifetime ban so this would not be a very useful strategy.
