Woke up this morning and says I am banned for one day but with no reason. Tried to contact supercell about this and have received no response. Anyone else have this problem. I am in a war and now will not be able to attack and will probably be kicked due to this plplease help.
How would anyone here know ?
Probably due to offensive clan description, or offensive bases. Or maybe you broke some rule of the TOS = Terms of Service, go read those.
Yes this happened to me yesterday only my ban is for 2 days. Mine is because of an offensive clan description. If you have a way to find out what your clan description says right now do so - SC changed ours to give us a "warning" about offensive wording.
I am a colead in my clan. If you are also and even if you did not write or even see the clan description they will still ban you becuase they have a policy of guilt by association. It's b.s. When I posted about this yesterday a few people told me to check the TOS which I did. Thr only relevant part is that it says you may be banned for POSTING offensive or inappropriate things. I did no such thing and I'm furious. Not to mention there is nothing in there saying co leaders are responsible for things other people post.
After 2 more defenses my ban will be over. I was over 4200 trophies when it started. Depending on how these 2 defenses go I figure this will have cost me about 50 dollars, not to mention a week or 2 of my time to get back to where I was. Did I mention I was furious? Hahah good luck to you.
OP, if no reason was given, someone reported you for inappropriate behavior in global chat. Unless you know you had an offense base. Remember, this report could have been submitted weeks ago and was only reviewed recently. It could have been something you said over a month ago.
To coleader banned guy. As a coleader, you have access to the editing of the clan description. As someone with the power to modify this description, you are equally responsible for everything posted. If you are unwilling to carry that responsibly, i suggest requesting a demotion. It absolutely is guilt by association because you are supposed to be part if the clans management. If you do not see yourself as management, again, ask for a demotion. Who ever posted the offensive message, you had the power to remove it. You didnt.
Not paying attention to your clan or clan description is not an excuse.
But i bet after this ban, you'll be much more vigilante as to what goes into your clan description, won't you? Ban successful in teaching a lesson in clan management.

Once your ban is over you can send an in game request for info about the ban, if you were banned by a human they can tell you why, if you were auto banned by the system that runs global then they probably won't know the exact reason.. just to to clear this up for the co leader poster..... "Your" account belongs to SC, they can, at their sole discretion, ban your access to it for any reason including violation the "spirit" of the ToS , forum rules etc.

Don't be a co-leader in a clan with people who can't act responsibly. Somehow I can't imagine that everyone is always well mannered and then when he went to sleep turned crazy, but even if that did happen, if you don't want to be held responsible for the clan, don't hold a leadership role.Quote:
