So I was in your position a couple months ago, and everyone told me to max everything. I didn't, and I regret it.
Loot really is easier at th8.
So let's say if I were to start TH after starting all teslas to 7 and having all walls lvl7, would that be a good idea?
I would say you stay max everything and go fresh to th9. Me and all my clanmates did that and we are doing great at each th lvl in war. Even out th7 in this war are getting 3 stars from their th8. You should also imply a rule for maxing before upgrading in your clan
Teslas have very long build times. Build times you wish you had to build xbow, etc. get your teslas max at least.
With the new changes I would say stay at TH8 and upgrade BK to 10 before leaving. Honestly I would say do walls also if you really want to be war player. Extra TH8 drill you just got and TH7 having drill now should make DE farming even better. You can start to practice all of the new war tactics as TH8 also. So get Pekka 3 and upgrade Golem. And defense is a big part of war. So walls are very important in that.
I only recommend early upgrades to those that are great attacker AND good farmer. Like more than 250 attacks per season at least. You are going to get the troops at TH9 but you have have to be fast and good farmer to be able to upgrade fast enough without getting attacked alot.
With the loot caps between TH levels it seems to me to be a no brainer to upgrade all you can before moving up. That said, there comes a point where you just need to decide if you can live with what you have at the higher TH level. It's a personal decision nobody can help with.
Back in early July just before going to th9 on my mini I was able to do 76 skulls in three days with no boosting.....that's probably not going to happen for you at th9, just something to think about.Quote:

Also, you arent rushed, leaving some walls and some tesla levels isnt truly rushed. I rushed more than you and im okay. I made it to 2600 and hanged around there for a bit getting DE and enjoying that loot bonus !
