Now that you can set a new "active war base" that will go into effect "when the next war starts" does this mean that you can build a completely non serious war base, when prep day starts it will "snap" a picture of your troll base for 24 hours and then you can switch it to the real base when prep day starts?

Doesnt it snap whatever base you have at beginning of prep? You can change it all you want during prep day the opponent never sees the changes until war starts. That's how sometimes you're looking at a base all day and then when war starts its got another AD, AT, etc.Quote:

I think it only "snapshots" the base at the end of prep day, when battle day starts. I believe changes show up instantly during prep day. I'm not 100 percent sure, because , before, there was no way to change a war base unless it was prep day.
The snapshot for your war layout is taken at the end of the prep day. Prep day will begin with your last war layout that was set as the active base. So you can use a decoy almost all of prep day. I had a decoy this war that I switched to the second prep day started up until the last 10 minutes then I switched to my real war layout.
So just to confirm... your base changes do show up to your opponent during prep day? Because it seems to me that in the past things would be switched around on the base but it was very clear this was not done last minute. I usually saw this on bases that were building new structures as a new TH level, etc.Quote:
