Either way you're farming 4 mill per wall so no keep it the way it is.
I voted yes, but my preferred solution which I believe would be fair for everyone would be to only have to option for using elixir for walls when it will not drop you below your cap.
I'm too lazy too look up the other TH stats, so using TH10 as my example, you can get 10% of storages with a 400K cap which is 4M in storages. If buying a wall (any level) would drop you below 4M, then you cannot use elixir for walls. Since the maximum cost for a wall is 4M, that allows players to put excess elixir to use, while not allowing players to dump it.
I always thought the gold/elixir imbalance in the game was a little silly, but in true SC fashion, they swung the pendulum too far the other way trying to balance it out.
Lvl 9 walls were pretty easy with just gold, so I would have kept them that way and just would've made lvl 10/11 elixer/gold.
