Elixir walls should be lv 10 or higher, not lv 9 or higher
The reason SuperCell lifted the ceiling on elixir walls was to make elixir more available to raid. But as a TH9 or TH10 they can still delete their elixir every time it goes over $1 million. Leaving elixir storages low and not worth raiding.
While it means TH9 can steal more off TH8. What does that leave TH10? All TH9 and fellow TH10 can still make elixir vanish before storages are worth raiding.
The only way to make elixir storages worth raiding for everyone, not just TH9 is to increase the lockout to lv 10 walls. That way a clasher must carry a minimum $3 million elixir before they can delete it on a wall.
I believe SuperCell have taken a step in the right direction to make elixir worth raiding for again, but I really feel they missed an opportunity to go one better. SuperCell consider this a long term game, and this opinion is based on a long term view.
Yes, I understand this will make it harder to farm lego walls, and $1 million each isn't easy. But consider the extra pain here will make it easier when you start farming far more expensive walls costing $3 million & $4 million each. As well leaving elixir more abundant for other key purposes such as quality troop donations, clan war flexibility and been able to farm effectively with combinations other than barch/BAM.
Right now the difficulty jump from lego [lv 9] walls to lava [lv 10] & zap [lv 11] walls is quite steep. Such a change to lesson the difficulty rise on final sets of walls.
It's like when you go to the gym, short term pain; long term gain.
Feel free to add your thoughts on such an idea, trying to consider the long term benefit to the game. Not just the benefit in the here and now.
