I know you can get it, I have it on my rooted kindle. However it would be much more practical to download from the Amazon Appstore

I'd rather they focused their efforts and resources on the major platforms and making improvements on those instead of wasting them for a tiny fraction of players.

The Kindle Fire basically runs on Android. Last I checked, Android is one of the 'major platforms', right?

The kindle fire is a modified android tab, however it does not have google play
