TH8 Raid Composition

I have just upgraded my Town Hall to level 8 and have had great success in finding resources, in two days I have totaled an approxiamate 6 million of each, here's my strategy.

I usually hover around 1200-1350 cups in the Silver One league using 16 giants, 8 wallbreakers, 40 goblins and about 60 archers.

I use about 30 archers spread out around defenses to pick off some building and distract while I crack open a few major compartments with my wallbreakers.

After this I flood the base with all 16 giants, they usually last for half the battle and maintain the attention of all the defenses.

From there I place the rest of my archers to clean up after the giants and then my goblins in to clean out the necessary storages or collectors.

This army composition is cost effective for me, I never lose elixir, I make it and I gain tons of gold.

You do not even have to deploy rage spells or heroes the majority of the time.

I don't necessarily only want definitive answers :) Please give me your experiences with raiding and good compositions and all that it'll be very helpful to hear :) Maybe you've had luck with the 90B90A10WB ​sandwich!

Oh also I'm a bit of a farmer. Here is the base I've created. Any tips on good trophy ranges?

Why do you use 10 Wb? U only used four and it seems that 6 or 8 is enough. Why 10?

I'm a near-maxed TH7, and this is the army I've been using recently.

3 L2 dragons
18-ish giants
Rest gobs plus a few archers
3 lightning spells (optional)
5 wbs

For this one, you take out an air defense before sending in the giants to take out the others. Then, you send in the drags. Drags are awesome, and destory everything. Watch for level 7 and 8 ATs, though...

Against advanced TH8 or decent TH9 bases, atleast 8~10 wall breakers is needed.
The base in the vid was an exception as the layout made it such that 4 precise wall breakers was sufficient.

But bear in mind that with xbows, even for a split second, your wall breakers can die super easily, thus making you waste more wall breakers than usual.

Sometimes I even find 10 wall breakers to be insufficient when fighting those th9 bases with tons of segmentation. >.<

Majority of the players here use 10 wall breakers.

I beg to differ. The barb/archer/wb combo works very well at TH8. I even wrote a guide on it!

I have a system set up so I have the exact same army every time even with donations. You should get one.
