Champions league.. Help- need answers

Not sure if I'm allowed to post an image here but

i was was wondering why high trophie pushers and top 3s move all their defences to the side? Is it for a free attack? Or to show they have shield?? I dont get it?? I tried to explain to people in my clan but they are also stumped..

That base design is obviously vulnerable to any decent attacker, so the player is most likely bragging about their shield. I think he might be using the new "Save base design" feature while his shield is up.

imho he did that so one of his clan mates, after exiting the clan, can go find him and give him a cheap shield

That could also be true, I forgot about the ability for high-level players to do that. However, why would his base design also be terrible? Surely as a near-max town hall 10 in champion league he would know a thing or two about compartmentalization.

Well its not just him but I've seen afew like it.. Strange..

One guy said its because you cant defend at th 10 champs top 3, your always going to get 2 stared so hes just praying for a cheap 1 star with th outside?

is this true?

Can an anyone say wether defence is hard at th 10?? I'm looking forward to getting there and i want to defend well?? I like defending.

To my knowledge it's so that no one can test an attack on him because his base design is truly different than that.

Correct, the top players are currently taking apart their bases so people can't 'sandbox' there base using third-party software. Pretty ironic imo as I'm equally sure they are also attempting to sandbox other players while preventing it from happening to themselves. Wish SC could stop this :/

Most top players do this bcos, they dont want to be Sanboxed, where people can attack u, u dont lose trophies or resources, nor does he lose any, but people can practice on ur base design. Its a ♥♥♥♥ kind off. With new save layout feature u can prevent sandboxing by keeping such a layout.

Cheers for the replies guys.. Never heard of sandboxing and nor do i want to know.. Shame people have to go to such lengths through.. Atleast they will praise the new feature of 3 base layouts.. :rolleyes:

Is is defending hard at th 10 vs other ths? 10 or below?? Vs the useral giants and wizards??

Hundreds of well built bases being 3-starred. Every base can be beaten. The only time you can win a defense is if the attacker screws up/sucks, is underprepared (no heroes, spells, etc), or you are significantly higher level than the attacker. At the maxed TH10 champs level, you don't see any of those things happening.

I imagine these top players are trying to avoid getting 3 starred because someone has practiced on their layout.
