I know there is a 40 obstacle limit for each village, but is there a limit on how many can spawn in a straight line? Per row or column on the grid?
Still can't find an answer to this. There are 16 total grid spaces along each side of the perimeter. I have 12 pine trees growing on my shoreline with 4 empty spaces. It has been like this for a year, so I am suspecting there is a limit...is this correct?
Can I hire someone to come plant 4 more? Willing to barter :-D

Do you have more than 12 on any one side of your perimeter?
I think the limit is probably just how many obstacles can fit along one side, but I don't know for sure.
Well I played a game of tag, back & forth with a rep from Supercell...still do not have an answer to this, haha.
The convo started off, it seemed, with their standard "cut & paste" responses to obstacle inquiries. Not addressing my question in any way.
I think the last two contacts were real people, but they just reworded & repeated the cut & paste response.
Basically the convo below was repeated over and over, haha:
Me: "Is there a limit to the number of trees that can grow in a straight line? Similar to the 40 obstacle limit allowed on each
village?"
Supercell: "Spawning is a random process. Spawning is unpredictable. We cannot tell you where a tree will spawn."
Haha, wasn't expecting anything more than this.
Not a concern, was just curious, oh well.
