As Dies Barch, So Dies Clash of Clans!

I maxed out my base (not all wall) without using barch. If you don't know to use another tactics, you can quit the game.

Clan Name? IGN? Strategy? And finally how long have you been playing?

I've never used Barch. Never. Never used BAM or mass archers either. Never once boosted barracks to farm. Fully maxed defensive structures. 1 billion GG in one week. 1 billion EE and 4.3 million HH. Lab is done except new giant which I need to start this week (and I'll never do lightning because I not use them ever).

Also never spent any money on gems. Had my account for 25 months, but only been playing for 20-21 months.

Learn how to use other troops. Easy.

additional information: spent 30USD for 5th builder (first week playing) and nothing more than that.

Before you all gang up on me - let me get the following out of the way.

1) I am TH8 (which is sometimes my mini, sometimes my main) depends in how I play.
2) I know we have no loot problems. I am here to talk about barch.

Barch isn't dead in lower leagues where I see TH9's attacking TH8's and us TH8's attacking TH7. It has become a bit difficult, but still I do get 50% on fellow TH8's.

Barching a TH9 - which I do if that base has loot has become a bit difficult, but that does not stop me from raiding the 1 or 2 storages or all the collectors that these guys keep behind one layer of walls.

Against strong bases, I had never used pure barch, the preferred strategy for me was GiBarch with 1 heal spell (if needed).

So in conclusion:

1) Barch is not dead (for me)
2) The extra elixir and DE that we will accumulate will be helpful for TH9's which indirectly will be helpful for Th10's.
3) People like me were tired of barch, it had become a monotonous routine (incidentally, that's what farming is in MMO's - DAYUMMM), so for TH8's with excess elixir, this is good. I have never used Baloonian, maybe it's time to try it :)

Not really. I farm with WiBArG and/or TrioLavaLoonion, Valk Squads just fine, depending on whether I'm low in Elix or DE. I don't BArch.

So the big picture here is people complaining about keeping 5 builders busy? gtfoh. I hope they keep nerfing so you can possibly go outside and get some fresh air. Said By a barch and bam user.

Impressive and my hat is off to both of you. The main difference though between you and most clash players is they have not had nor will be playing for 1.5 or 2 years. I do commend you on the farming effort.

To the OP, you did a good job of listing things SuperCell have down to make Barching harder…while neglecting to acknowledge lv 7 archers & lv 7 barbs.

It is not unexpected for defence to catch up with the power of new offence.

I'm barching just fine in Crystal right now, loot is just still not great post update which makes it suck at the moment.

Yeah. And my different is I dont have time to attack every 30mins. I have work and life. I rather train good troop to attack strong player who has more loot.
