Are the lvl 5 hogs still worth it?

Yes... Absolutely yes. To use in hybrids they are absolutely amazing and to donate to smaller TH7-TH9 in my clan also as they help out taking badly placed AD from opponents.

Hogs are still my favorite troop in the game. I still manage to mass hog bad designed TH10 for 3* in some wars. Good times. HoGoWiWi is my favorite war army to use.

Even if you don't like pure hog attacks they are still a fantastic support troop when your gowiwi or whatever is running out of steam.

You need to clash more. Yes, it is a real attack and is used very often by a lot of TH9-10 every war. Myself included.
