The quality of this writing is torturous to my eyes.

Dont worry about what these people say. I am right behind you on my TH 9 upgrade. I have slightly less skull Ella's then you and a few different upgrades besides splash that will not be done. It is fine. So we won't get as much gold as before. We will still get it in the end. Most importantly have fun and enjoy this game.

Thanks for the kind words.. Yeah I know I won't be takin 200K off TH7 anymore but it is all about havin fun and kickin ♥♥♥!

You have 5 builders and enough elixir to upgrade one barracks and storages are pretty cheap upgrades.

Those walls and barracks won't cut it at Town Hall 9

In my opinion you don't need to have everything maxed at all before going to TH9. You'll have plenty to upgrade there too, right? I never had a problem being TH9 at all, and my camp is nowhere near maxed. Don't worry.

your essentially protecting the elixir storage with your Tesla. Id move it to the gap at the top to cover gold instead of elixir. That's what i meant- your Tesla is protecting the elixir over gold. Barracks is a pain but when its done, its done!

I have all maxed barracks now and they look way cooler. that frees up all my elixir for level 9 town hall upgrades too :)

enjoy th9, i can't wait for dual xbows, AQ and lvl 6 archers :D

you've been TH8 for 8 months and this is the state of your base? you are like the poster-child for why premature leveling of THs is bad. personally, your under-leveled barracks would be my greatest concern. you'll soon have to fill 220 camps spots, and leveling barracks is no fun (i'd spend 2 builders NOW to have them free when your TH finishes).

do what's fun. if playing catch-up at TH8 for eight months with a severe loot penalty was fun, then i'm sure TH9 will be fun, too. your defenses are actually okay, and the penalty for maxing not maxing TH8 is not as severe as the penalty for maxing TH7 (which you've already experienced). i would check out the farming base designs thread, though, as your use of walls/placement of your clan castle is sub-optimal.
