Agree that it's not the best use of wall, but if Hut is not destroyed, WB can be lured to those walls. And, those walls are low level, so I believe he doesn't care much.

To OP,
You're not in perfect situation as others said to jump to TH9. Though, your TH8 is quite mature to go, with max Mortar, HT, Cannon and soon-to-max WT & AT. Lv5 Barb King is also not bad. Lv91 also means you spend enough time at TH8 or maybe you just donate a lot.

With lots of skull wall, it seems that you have good farmer skill. With a bit more patience, I believe you will spend not much time to get all skull wall. Seriously, why don't you spend those Gold to upgrade all walls to purple instead of some skull wall?

Lastly, my nitpicking is your builder schedule. You will not have all 5 builders available when you reach TH9.

PS. Saving 40,000 DE to instantly buy Archer Queen is the most crucial thing when you reach TH9, in my opinion.

Because the new wall breakers aim for walls with building behind them, it is fine with me for attackers to waste breakers opening up builder hut compartments. Then troops rush to that pinpoint spot to attack a hut then my mortar rains firey goodness down on them. In my opinion, strategical... Other might say waste of walls.

i think the week long shield is an excellent idea, i really like this layout but it is bitter sweet that I need to tear it up and start a new design

I was a premature TH8 back in October-ish spent some serious time bringing everything to where I am now. I was an achievement hunter and do donate alot, I don't see that as a bad thing but my 91, in my opinion, is well deserved.
I do pride myself on diligent farming and patience. The builder schedule, I went back and forth on. I was collecting gold too quickly when I upgraded so i figured it would be better to use on defense rather than walls. Also, everything is expensive so i new i wouldn't need all 5 right away. Plus, one builder finishes 12 hours after the hall is done and the other is 24 hours after. I think the Archer Queen will be my biggest challenge. Bring it!

Raid raid raid so you have enough gold to build xbow!

then upgrade xbow to level 3 ASAP that will keep the raiders out :)

My sentiments exactly, I have already looked at the Wiki and saw that it will take a month of build time for those bad boys. Im thinking, if I can get enough gold quickly, of doing them both at the same time...hhmmmm

Yeah I can't get my clan mates to understand this concept, upgrade all canons (if possible) at one time... Better to have no canons for 3,4, or 5 days than have 1 canon down for weeks

2k gold can take out 15 housing space worth of troops.

It's referring to spring traps.

If u do not have ALL... I repeat... ALL... WALLS at skull (level 8) and max defenses... U can forget about going to th 9.

Of course...if u like to torture urself...please upgrade to th 9 by all means...;)
