Finally making the leap to 9

This is the first time i have posted my base for critism. I think this design is my strongest design so far. Regardless of the level of the defense inside. As much as i enjoy taking 200K from TH7, i feel it is time for 9. I think my favorite parts are the builders huts and the empty 4 squares all over to keep the attacker wondering where the teslas or big bombs are. (Although i never use any bombs or traps) .... The elixir storage is near the edge cuz i have no use for it at the moment and it has high hitpoints. Any thoughts?

Apparently no one likes my base:(... I should have made the title My Strongest Farming Base I have Designed.. or something like that.

Firstly Id get those low level walls up to par. You'll need all the gold you can get at th9.
secondly, your barracks need a little TLC, though tbf they're good enough for raiding.
Air defenses could do with upgrading
Id move your most western Tesla up to the top, nearer your gold. As you said, your elixir storage's are only for hp so why are you protecting it over your gold?
Your walls making a T shape on the north-west are useless where they are.

If you were smarter you would cancel the upgrade, and make sure you upgrade everything. Even walls amd barracks.

ouch! But fair :rolleyes:.... The stone walls are there cuz I think they add a little color, I know a breaker goes through easy but i like them...yeah barracks a a pain because i dont want to be without use of them for 4 days, but like you said, it is good enough for farming....tesla, I will look into that you are right....I don't understand your comment ""As you said, your elixir storage's are only for hp so why are you protecting it over your gold?"" Im not really protecting it, and I am online often enough that my mines don't fill up... The cross at the top is for decoration because there aren't enough to wrap anything with them.

Sorry if I was being rude, I just think that you should MAX everything before the leap to TH9,and try to get full storages before it.

Yeah just archer towers and air def... Barracks ... Shrug, I don't really have a use for constant dragons and pekka's.... I have 4 days to fill gold.... Only need 3 mil more, easy.

Why are builder huts protected by walls? Man this is like twentieth base I see with builder huts protected by walls, and its always on higher level town hall. Am I missing something? Is there a valid reason for doing so? If I had to, I would protect gold mine rather than a builder hut.

Your town looks fine. I hit th9 five days ago after maxing everything except walls, barracks, and one air def (lvl 5, not 6). As you know, loot drops big time. You'll need to readjust your expectations of what is a good raid. I filled my storages two days before my th finished and then bought a week shield, which allowed my mines and collectors to fill. I went into th9, therefore, with 6.9m gold and 6.9m elixer, which is nice because I started the two xbows immediately and still had some gold for walls and lvl 1 new defenses and time to rearrange.

That brings me to your town: looks like a good th8 farming town. But, you're about to get 25 new wall pieces, 2 xbows, 1 archer twr, 1 wiz twr, 1 air def, and 2 more storages. You will need to redesign majorly to find space for all those new buildings.

I would've maxed the walls and buildings first.
