Should I harvest xmas presents as soon as they spawn?

It's my first clash Xmas.

Do I understand this right:

Leave the tree (don't chop it down) until it stops spawning presents, some time after xmas (new years? when do they stop?).

But I can harvest presents as they spawn, if I have a free builder right?
The presents don't do anything once they're around but take up space I assume.

In fact had I better harvest them as much as I can to leave the most spawning room for more presents?

Anyone know?

These type of trees are not as common as other items that appear randomly on your map. You may cut one down in hopes to farm another and never get another one. It is luck of the draw. I would harvest the presents as soon as they spawn. Only because we know the flow of present will continue through Christmas.
